A Wholesale Dealer’s Authorisation (WDA) or Broker’s Licence is needed in most cases to supply a medicinal product in the UK. This includes invoicing customers or procuring batches from product manufacturers (wholesale dealing activities), or local affiliates that broker deals with the national health service on behalf of a corporate marketing authorization holder (brokering activities). A WDA holder must demonstrate that its Quality System sets out responsibilities and the principles of the risk management process in relation to their activities.
